The Weekend
On Friday 5 September 2025, we would love to see you for a very relaxed garden party at Claudia’s childhood home in Lädja, Småland. The address is Lädja Norregård 1. You are welcome from 16:00 and food will be ready at 17:30. Pop in anytime you like between 16-21:00 for a bite to eat and something to drink. This will be a casual gathering and it may get chilly, so please dress accordingly.
On Saturday 6 September 2025, the ceremony at Skogstemplet will begin at 14:00. We ask that you are seated by 13:50 at the latest. We have arranged a bus to transport our guests from Asa Herrgård to the ceremony in the woods. The bus will leave from Asa Herrgård at 13:10 with 40 guests and will do another pick-up round for the remaining guests at approximately 13:30.
Our officiant at the ceremony will be our dear friend Gal Jacobson. The ceremony will be held under a Chuppah, under which we and our closest family will stand together, and it will include seven blessings. More information explaining all the traditions will be available on the day.
The ceremony will be followed by a reception at Asa Herrgård, down by the lake. There will be bubbles, canapés, cake and coffee.

Dinner will begin at 17:30 and will include speeches. If you wish to give a speech, please speak to our toastmasters, Laura and Shimon. See more information on toastmasters below.
Last but not least, we will dance dance dance.
On Sunday morning, breakfast is served in Asa Herrgård between 09:00-11:00. This is for all of our guests, including those who stay elsewhere. Those who wish are welcome to join us for a morning swim.
On Sunday afternoon, those of you who want are welcome to join us for coffee and cake at Claudia’s childhood home after check-out.
We are beyond excited to spend the day and weekend with you all. It’s a very rare occasion for us to gather our loved ones from all corners of the world and we are eternally grateful for your participation.
Please join us for as much of the weekend as you wish and feel comfortable with. We do not expect anything in particular, and understand that some of you may only be able to participate on the wedding day itself. We are grateful for however much time with you we can get.

Please RSVP to claudiatufte@hotmail.se by 01.06.2025, telling us which parts of the weekend you will be participating in, and please also include your dietary requirements.

Accomodation
We suggest the following options:
The wedding itself will be held at Asa Herrgård, a wonderful estate from the 1700s, and it is possible to stay here. This is where we will be staying. The prices of rooms in Asa Herrgård are as follows:
Single room: SEK 1250 / night
Queensize with 140 cm bed (1-2 people): SEK 1450 / night
Double room (2 people): SEK 1650 / night
Family room: SEK 2250 / night
Extra bed: SEK 400 / night
Just across the lake from Asa Herrgård lies Asa Vandrarhem, a beautiful building from 1900, previously used as a school for the local children, which now functions as a hostel. Asa Vandrarhem is a 10-15 minute walk from Asa Herrgård. As a guest at Asa Vandrarhem, you have your own room, but share a large guest kitchen, showers and toilets with other guests. The prices of rooms in Asa Vandrarhem are as follows:
Single room: SEK 550 / night
Double room: SEK 750 / night
Four-bed room: SEK 1150 / night
Six-bed room: SEK 1550 / night
Nine-bed room: SEK 2150 / night

Guests need to have checked out from both Asa Herrgård and Asa Vandrarhem by 11:00 on the Sunday.
We ask that you please get in touch with claudiatufte@hotmail.se to let us know which location and room you would like us to book for you. We will manage the bookings, and payments are taken at the reception upon arrival to the hotels. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Meaning, please do get in touch sooner rather than later if you have a strong preference.
If you prefer to stay elsewhere, please inform us about this as well. You are very welcome to book a cottage in the area, if you prefer, and we are very happy to assist you in the search.
Transportation
The two villages Lädja and Asa, in which the wedding weekend will take place, are located approximately 3.5 hours by car from Copenhagen. Trains run every hour from both Copenhagen Central Station and Copenhagen Airport to Växjö, the closest city to the Swedish villages. The train ride takes approximately 2 h and 30-45 minutes to Växjö Station.
We suggest booking a car either at Copenhagen Airport (approximately 3.5 hour drive from the venue/hotels) or in Växjö (40 minute drive from the venue/hotels). We will speak to local car rental companies in Växjö to get the best deals possible for our guests, so please do get in touch with us if you wish to book a car in Växjö. Furthermore, we will eventually create a group chat in which you can coordinate carpooling.
